• Just thinking. Fairly often when you see an altercation in a FS thread/bad traders, looking at the post history of the seller it's only FS threads and little or nothing else. Obviously this is a free forum and they're profiting yadda yadda but it seems to be that it's an entirely one sided deal that could easily be "encouraged" to be a bit fairer - the minimum recurring donation is only a pint every 6mo!

Or is the benefit to the forum access to a greater number of parts/bikes without ebay tax?

A fair few people post a lot and sell a lot which I think is fine, they are clearly active contributing members and justify their profits if any.

  • Should there be a rule that people do a search before starting new threads?

  • I tried. Should there be a rule that people direct someone to a thread they evidently haven't found before moaning they made another? ;)

Should there be a rule that prolific sellers must be active members/donate?
