How about a 1982 Bianchi frame and Campag group that ticks most of your boxes?
If that may get your thermionic valves a-glowing, I will PM you some photos this evening.

I'm 5.10 & a bit
But I ride a 56 - 57 square all depends on stem length
, I'd sit on a few before you decide on 54 , I'd be a bit cramped .. But understand we are all different shaped ;) -

Doesn't everyone have a bedroom full of bikes ? A cold damp shed just seems so cruel.

thanks all, i was most interested in Chris's colnago but I need 130mm rear dropout to take 10speed wheel, and togas not quite what I am after
anything else out there, bump?
so, whilst I am looking for a groupset, i need a frame to go with it.......
i have been searching the for sale threads and ebay but nothing has jumped out at me,
ideally i am looking for something from the 90s era which should be a fairly good grade steel with no dents or dings, not massively bothered by paint condition at this stage, should have braze ons for down tube shifters, clamp on front mech preferable, and internally routed cable routing on the top tube (no functional / practical reason, I just like it like that), could be a nice english frame or something european (roberts/waugh/merckx/ciocc etc)
as for size, top tube should be about 54cm c-c im thinking (maybe slightly less), have ridden larger for track and is fine but with ergo shifters its a bit of a stretch, so think 54cm is about right for me at 5'10. seat tube can be 54-56cm c-c, does this sound about right in terms of sizing?
could be interested if there is a complete bike, ideally after campag groupset if that is the case
over to you.........
thanks
