New Shop - 'Cycle PS' - SE11 4RN Newington Butts

Hello LFGSS members, we have just opened up a new shop in the Kennington/Elephant area and deemed it appropriate to stick a post on here about us to rustle up a bit of interest and to let you know what we are all about.

We are housed in an old pub based on the CS7 cycle route. Providing a fully functioning workshop, bar, cafe as well as bike accessories.

I myself have been on the forum for a little while, done a bit of buying and selling etc, and as I'm managing Cycle PS im keen to organise and arrange some ride outs from our shop, some late night drinks (we've got an 11.30 licence) and other stuff that you guys might be interested in.

If theres anything that you'd like to see from us or any services etc you'd like to see then drop us a line.

Stopped by for a couple of beers after work last night. Good place, cheap beer. Harvey seemed like a good bloke too.

Popped over to have a look today not realising you are not open at the weekend. Doh.

Thanks to the guys that have come in! Its going pretty well so far, I am running a late evening every friday till 11pm, so come and have a couple (or more) beers, should be a pretty good one. The late friday has been getting gradually busier.

Popped in a couple of times now is a cool place and good friday night vibe!!

I've been in a couple of times.
Had a coffee, tweaked my bikes.
Good coffee. Have yet to eat anything though.
The staff are really helpful. They let me borrow a crank arm puller and BB tool to tighten my bottom bracket at no cost. It really helped me out.

As someone who rides past every day on my commute (need to change my username - I now commute from SW2 along the Rio Lycra) can I ask a possibly stupid question?

Is the name of the shop a pun on 'Cyclops'? Or is there another reference/pun I'm missing? I'm not being funny, it just bugs me every time I'm stopped at the lights looking at your sign, like when you see a hairdresser's or florist's or another business in a pun-heavy industry and you're not sure if you're 'getting it'.

Quick fix on a rear brake sorted, good work by Harvey, I'm swinging in for a beer tonight.

I had a toastie a while back. Simple and good. Nice chat. I'll definitely head over for a beer sometime if I'm in that neck of the woods.
