For Sale: Genesis 853 Prototype Hardtail 19" (full bike)

Righto, rather ashamedly the mtb isn’t getting the riding itdeserves so I’ve decided to pass it on. It was a working prototype so the only one of its kind – hopefully the ideal opportunity for someone to buy a unique, lovely riding UK steel hardtail…

I’m 6ft and it fits me lovely. Everything working and runningfine and dandy and in great condition.

• 19” Prototype Genesis Latitude 853 frame – falls between the Altitude and Latitude models so gets the updated 2x10 compatible plated driveside chainstay, DZB toptube (no gussets) and slightly wider dia. seattube (but not the X44 oversize headtube).
  
• Fork – RockShox Revelation Dual Air Race, U-Turn, Maxle 20mm, 150-120mm. Been running them wound down to 120mm and they’re great.
  
• PRO Koryak bars (uncut @ 685mm), Stem (70mm) and seatpost (27.2mm x 400mm)
  
• Full Shimano SLX Dynasys 10sp groupset (bar XT front rapidfire shifter) – 42/32/24T x 11-36T.
  
• Brakes – Shimano SLX w/ SM-RT97 180/160mm centrelock rotors
  
• PRO Atherton lock-on grips
  
• M:Part Elite sealed cartridge bearing headset
  
• Continental X-King 2.4” Protection Folding tyres
  
• Madison Flux saddle (v. similar to Charge Spoon)
  
• USE seatpost shim (30.0mm – 27.2mm)
  
• Shimano PD-M540 pedals (will include new cleats)
  
• Wheels – DT Swiss X430 on SLX hubs (front 20mm), double butted spokes

Vinder - I'm near enough 6ft (5-11") and Mrs. Alb is very bike friendly (and understanding) - simple matter is that it doesn't get ridden so is (hopefully) going to a more deserving home.

Have the forks got a lock-out? Are the brakes cable operated?

Brakes are hydraulic, forks do have a lock-out (via crown dial). They're also air-sprung - the bonus being they're much more tunable (vs. coil sprung) to rider weight, riding style, etc. Forgot to add that l'll include a shock pump so any buyer is free to make their own adjustements.
