  • Some bits and bobs I need less than dollaz.

Chorus monoplanar (no, really) brakes. £40 seems to be the going rate. - Lots of interest, probably gone. gone

C-record (Chorus?) headset. Really nice, bit of a scuff on one cup (pictured) and obviously some teeny marks on the spanner flats from spannering. £30 gone

    The Scuff

Chorus front derailleur. Pretty tidy, few scratches but presentable. £10 gone

    C-record era chorus levers. £30

Shimano 105 rear derailleur and index/friction DT shifters. Fine. Meh. £15

San Marco regal girardi saddle. Ok condition, a few cosmetic scuffs and one little rip astern, Teeny Tear on the Tip. £28

Shimano BB-6500 octalink bottom bracket. 109.5mm spindle, english cups. Never used it myself but feels pretty smooth in the hand. £8 gone

90s clipless pedals. I think these grow in parts bins. £5 for the ones that look like scalextric cars because demz shiny gone, the look deltas are barely £beer, probably £ribena.

Shimano V-brakes x 2. All good, barely used but the mounting bolts are missing. £8 gone

Need to find a thin socket to get the fucker off, but I have a chorus crankset with good rings, and the matching chorus BB to come: **Thin socket found, cranks+rings £45, BB £16 ** gone

Wheelset - C-record Chorus hubs, open 4cd rims with minmal wear (most of the anodizing on braking surface intact), built by dave Hinde. £85, or swap/part ex. for older factory road wheelset to suit veronica. In London for collection from the 15th.

  • How much for the chorus cranks?

  • Depends how good the BB looks when I get it off. Would you just want the arms?

  • Say £40 sans BB?

  • Dibs headset, where is collection again please?

  • .

  • Aye

  • OG bolts and dust caps

  • Although you say you won't post yet, can I express my interest in the calipers if you can post.

Also V V IMPORTANT (and through experience!!) be VERY careful taking those crank caps off, they seize in and the allen bolts round off...I just spent the best part of a week with easy outs, a drill, half a can of plus gas and no end of patience getting the little shits out of mine!!

  • Cheers! They pop off fine though, I think these have only been fitted once. not even surface rust on the crank bolts.

Headset is under dib, by the way.

  • Headset gone, brakes soon.

  • I'm heading into town to drop some bits off, can bring other bits if anyone wants something but couldn't be arsed to trek out to my endz.

  • dibs octalink bb

  • i'm also interested in the chorus cranks and bottom bracket if alfie does't take them. how much and how long are the crank arms?

  • I already have them! 170mm, £45 cranks & rings, £20 bb sound about right?

  • radical pedals are radical

  • I already have them! 170mm, £45 cranks & rings, £20 bb sound about right?

  • Can I take the s.calextric pedals if u could be bothered to post, would be appreciated

  • 1989-91 chorus, 115mm with a rule. I'll break out the verniers once I've consumed my own weight in pasta.
