If you attacked the lugs and fork crown with some aluminium foil and vinegar (true!) you'll get the old chrome or bare metal looking like this:

Autosol on the bars and stem , loads of wax on the frame, proper tyres and you have a gorgeous classic.! GLWTS :) -

Sorry should have said.. its a 22.5" frame and tyres was all i had to hand and it was either red or yellow and liked the infra red kinda thing too...
