ah well it's just a fucking colnago-strap a rubber chicken to the headtube and get a d-lock mount on the bastard asap before some ponce spunks cash at it to have it fully restored.
Have had this Colnago Super hanging in the shed for a couple of years now. Bought it complete and was planning on repainting it but found these two small bulges on the top & downtube which implies it has been crashed sometime. Kind of lost the interest in it then and it's been gathering dust since.
Has anyone here ridden crashed frames without them failing dramatically?
Not sure what to do with it.
Approach one is to build a real rat bike of it, braze on mudguard eyelets and just ride it around town.
Approach two is to replace both tubes, remove the downtube bosses and replace them with new modern cable stops, but as the chrome on both chainstays and the fork is in pretty bad condition and it will need new paint it kind of feels like it's too much trouble. If it still is rideable i rather just go nuts and build a crazy town bike.
Whadd'ya reckon?
Not the correct headset but obviously more of a 'track geo'.
