  • Some months ago a friend of mine asked me to start thinking about a steel track bike for him. We started to think about colors and components...
...but the first think to make was the geometry of the frame and than the frame itself.

here you can see the frame "ready"

and some of the components for the bike

than i started to prepare it for the paintjob

and than i had to wait for a sunny day to make the color. I always like to see the color with the sunlight.
After finishing the paintjob i started to make a few homemade tools.

and some of Boards of Canada albums later...

    it's not finished yet
    i must polish the stem
i also have to apply the bartape (similar to the saddle)

i'll try to take a few pics of the full bike after i finish it
than i'll share it here ;-)

  • Subbed. Btw what ratio is that on?

  • Lovely!

  • Was looking forwards to this bike popping up finished, looks lovely. You do a fine job building bikes sir!

  • Lovely work!

  • it has a 48t/17t
only after the weekend i'll manage to polish the stem. Than i'll take some pics.
I did a bike very similar to this one (the components are almost the same) but the color is a pearl white. Soon i'll take better pics of the bike.

  • Looking awesome (as usual),
    Love that "blood red"
Can you make a "bike check" ?

  • Is that a Mustang shell in the background?

  • really nice color, and really nice bike..

  • Mid 70s Audi coupe?

  • thanks! ;-)
next week i'll share some pics of the full bike.
