Do you know the top tube length and is it location up north or in london? I am just a bit worried it might be slightly big so obviously it would be nice to see it.
-
• #11
It's in Leeds. I'll take some measurements tommorow at work.

• #12
Glynn how tall are you? The TT actually slopes forward a little so this sizes as if it were a traditional bike. On a modern road frame I ride either 56 or 58. I ride Large mountain bike frames too. Ill get some measurements anyway.

Just measured myself for the first time in years it appears I'm shorter than I thought. 5ft 11ish I think my frame at the moment is a large and that's 57.5cm. It is a fantastic build

It's been a long time coming and this sale is gutting for me, but since moving back up north I just don't use her at all. Road and mountain bikes have occupied all my riding time.

Size wise its a 59cm, I'm of average build and 6ft tall and it fits me perfectly as pictured. If you wanted to run TT bars/drops on it you would probs need t be a little taller, but I think it handles nicest with a set of riser bars. It's at work at the moment, so I'll post a toptube measurement up shortly.
Please note this is a 1st gen FBM Sword, its got the cleanest back end - with the tuck in dropouts rather than the new ones which aren't as unique. The headtube badge is obviously BADASS.
This is a handmade frame, by the guys at FBM in NEw York who build some of the best BMX frames money can buy. They are only made in small batches. I got the frame before they even made the forks, i doubt you'll see another original gloss black one in the UK. I got it as a special order through 4Down.
Its NOT a trick frame and has never been ridden as such, so structurally it is perfect.
I'll be as honest as possible here and say the paintwork on the frame/fork is not immaculate. Its never been crashed but its been locked up lots.
Handling wise this thing is amazing. Fag paper clearances at the back, longish TT, combined with a tightly raked fork makes a very lively ride. When I used to switch from my Condor Tempo or Fuji Track after winter it always felt amazing.
Looking for £750 for the whole lot. That is including delivery via Fedex and i'll have the bike fully insured. It will be in a new bike box, so it will be packaged properly.
Thankyou for looking. Any questions please ask.
Cheers, Sammy
