• It's been a long time coming and this sale is gutting for me, but since moving back up north I just don't use her at all. Road and mountain bikes have occupied all my riding time.

    The spec is as follows:

    Frame - FBM Sword - 1st Gen - 59cm
    Fork - FBM Sword
    Headset - United (bmx brand)
    Seatclamp - Salsa
    Seatpost - Thomson Elite
    Stem - Thomson X4
Bars - Raceface Diabolous - the ones pictured are a bit tatty, i've got a new set i'll put on before dispatch.
Grips - Skyway Lock-Ons (Similar to ODI Ruffians)
    Saddle - Selle Italia SL
    Chainset - Sugino 75 - 165mm
    Chainring - Miche 44T
    Chainring Bolts - Sugino
    Chain - Izumi Silver
    Sprocket - Condor CNC 19T
BB - Campagnolo (think its Veloce but will confirm)
    Hubs - Profile Track
    Lockring - Profile
Spokes - DT Swiss Competition (double butted) w/ brass nipples
RIms - Mavic Open Pro - CD Finish - 32H
Tyres - Continental Contact 28c on rear / Continental Ultra Gatorskin 23c on front - Conti tubes I think.
    Pedals - Time Atac Alium

    EXTRA's
Mudguards - SKS Race Blades in black
Front brake - Odyssey mono lever and Shimano Tiagra caliper - cables included - ready to bolt on.
Kryptonite Faghettaboutit Mini Lock - fits perfect round frame+wheel for uber security
TIme Atac Cleats - brand new ones, in bag still.

Size wise its a 59cm, I'm of average build and 6ft tall and it fits me perfectly as pictured. If you wanted to run TT bars/drops on it you would probs need t be a little taller, but I think it handles nicest with a set of riser bars. It's at work at the moment, so I'll post a toptube measurement up shortly.

Please note this is a 1st gen FBM Sword, its got the cleanest back end - with the tuck in dropouts rather than the new ones which aren't as unique. The headtube badge is obviously BADASS.
This is a handmade frame, by the guys at FBM in NEw York who build some of the best BMX frames money can buy. They are only made in small batches. I got the frame before they even made the forks, i doubt you'll see another original gloss black one in the UK. I got it as a special order through 4Down.
Its NOT a trick frame and has never been ridden as such, so structurally it is perfect.

I'll be as honest as possible here and say the paintwork on the frame/fork is not immaculate. Its never been crashed but its been locked up lots.

Handling wise this thing is amazing. Fag paper clearances at the back, longish TT, combined with a tightly raked fork makes a very lively ride. When I used to switch from my Condor Tempo or Fuji Track after winter it always felt amazing.

Looking for £750 for the whole lot. That is including delivery via Fedex and i'll have the bike fully insured. It will be in a new bike box, so it will be packaged properly.

Thankyou for looking. Any questions please ask.

    Cheers, Sammy

  • great build for a decent price, always wanted one of these.

  • Cheers Joe!

  • Bump for great camera skillz.

  • ha! Helps having an infinity curtian at work!

  • v tempted

  • amazing, and a bargain too. if it was a 55 I'd be having this

  • Such great frames... Bargainous, beautiful build...

  • Your making me not want to sell it! Haha

  • Do you know the top tube length and is it location up north or in london? I am just a bit worried it might be slightly big so obviously it would be nice to see it.

  • It's in Leeds. I'll take some measurements tommorow at work.

  • Glynn how tall are you? The TT actually slopes forward a little so this sizes as if it were a traditional bike. On a modern road frame I ride either 56 or 58. I ride Large mountain bike frames too. Ill get some measurements anyway.

  • Fantastic build and price, always wanted one of these frames.

  • Just measured myself for the first time in years it appears I'm shorter than I thought. 5ft 11ish I think my frame at the moment is a large and that's 57.5cm. It is a fantastic build

  • love both fbm and this frame. very tempted by a new one!

  • Nice build this, a little tempted as well.... You should keep it and start coming on some rides!

  • I need the money really. Glynn sounds like it'd fit you well then

  • Sammy hi, just pmed you! Pls let me know.

  • George, PM me a full shipping address and I'll see if the shipping is reasonable to Cyprus

  • Not splitting, are you?

  • what a lovely bike that is!

  • No splits

  • Do these have drilling for a rear brake?

  • no drilling for rear brake. the TT length is 575mm c-to-c horizontally.

  • i would like to send you a private message, but i´m new in this forum... can send me a pm? i am really really interested in this amazing bike!!
