The documentary on how to kill a bike

  • I like the 7 minutes of black at the end - austerely avant-garde, and yet holding out the promise of a secret track which actually sort of appeared; short-lived and melancholy despite it's cheery content.

  • Bloody hell. That was painful to watch. "Hello, I'm having a mid-life crisis. I'm no longer down with the kids, so I need to fix that. Why don't I begin by stripping down and rattle canning a beautiful road bike!"

  • The old paint was shit, the new paint is shit. No braze-ons removed, and mostly decent components used. I don't see the problem.

BTW, Nishikis are ten-a-penny in the US and Canada. Half the people who ride them probably have a DUI.
