What are those two idiots doing? Any fule know you never lean.
I won't be racing tonight as I'm off the bike for a few days while I get over a lurgy. Absolutely gutted, the weather is beautiful today. I'll volunteer do some officiating if they need any bodies. I'm crooked as hell so there may a chance for some people to get some extra points if the price is right...

Will be there to have a go in the C Cat, those 0.1pts aren't gonna earn themselves

Quite enjoyed that. B cats wasn't too mental. Popped off the front at one point but didn't last long.
But, most importantly, who got the most mosquito bites? I'll open the bidding at 3.

First ever track race tonight, really enjoyed iT, rode in the cat c races. Wasn't expecting so many kids in there but it was certainly no picnic!

Cat C was too easy, but I earned a point or two? Cat B next time.
Saw one mosquito landing on my knee, got him before he bit me, so I got no bites.
Also got told off for riding a Fuck. -

Very impressive riding Dimi. It's rare someone breaks away in a devil. Much better to prove yourself in a lower category and then promote yourself than some of the people struggling just not to get dropped in a higher category.
The bike branding is probably a little unnecessary for polite company though...

Thank you! Will adjust the graphics for the next time. :)

Not sure if it was the fading light causing this, the unknown distance race seemed incredibly fast. Throw in a the odd rider or TWO not holding his line as well as he should, certainly added to the adrenalin rush.
I will gladly swap a mosquito bite for a Blandford Fly bite, which I'm hoping are incapable of burrowng through 6" of tarmac.

Sounds like great fun. It'll be laps of Regents Park on Wednesdays for a little longer, until I've got a couple more Saturdays, Mondays and a BC License under my belt.
I'm presuming it's okay to join the league after the seasons started? -

That was an ordeal. Racing straight after work with almost 20 miles of commuting and not enough food. I hope I don't work on any Wednesdays from now on otherwise I am not going to get a single point all season. That said, great to see so many people there for the first race of the season! I am looking forward to making many new friends and improving my riding.

I was hoping the works had killed them off, I might be able to come and do some judging/helping ocasionally if they've gone!

I liked the "jump on and start racing while the previous group are still warming down" approach. Means a bit less time wasted (in the warm-up at least).

Unless they fill in all the ponds in the Burbage Road gardens I think the buggers are here to stay.
Good ride by Dimi last night, you definitely should be riding Bs next week unless you fancy a crack at colinsmith123's sandbagger of the year award.
