I have a mint chrome Precisa that would be suitable for £100.

You need a curved Colnago fork and certainly not a Precisa fork... keep in period with the frame... also I would equip the frame with nouvo/super record components....

Sorry for hijacking but Colnago costa, do you happen to have a colnago track fork with a longer steerer tube for sale? I'm after one with a sloping fork crown as seen on Esamexico pistas. Cheers!

Don't be a snob Ian! He can do what he likes as long as he enjoys the bike! ;-)

Aah Hutch... sorry didn't mean to snub your offer, but with all respect if you are spending good money on a frame and forks I just feel that you should get the correct fork... Anyway, apologies Hutch... Ian :-(

This will be full SR equipped, as hopefully your cranks will be sitting on it. I think ill hold out for a curved fork but precisa will be last option. Still dont know what the "76" stamped on the bottom bracket shell means. Any one know?

Yes but not really ideal. Still collecting al the bits for build so still a little time before I get desperate or opt for precisa fork, which from pm's, seem abundant at the mo.

Anyone got a chrome 1" threaded precisa fork for sale? top price paid so send me a pm. john
Despite and contrary to the advice given by esteemed colnago expert, mr colnago costa, I have ended up buying this frame http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/colnago-super-55cm-frame-/261201633290?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D7171043353567395849%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D261201633290%26
I am now trying to source a suitable colnago fork to go with this. May consider a precisa.
