Dibs on spoon saddle and black tektros please

Interested in the hubs, how do they attach to a frame? Are special fittings required? Last question: could you post? If you can dibs.

2nd dibs on spoon if it falls through please

Re. the SA hubs, I never got around to fitting them myself. Front should be the same as fitting any other hub to a fork. Rear will need spacers depending on your frame dropout width, they can go on any size from 120mm to 135mm wide. You'll need a shifter (either SA one, or cheaper SunRace copy from eBay), and I guess a little SA indicator chain, which you can get online for a few pounds from SJSCycles.
Would prefer not to post as it's a bit of a pain to get to the PO, and as they're a bit heavy, the cheapest Post Office price I could find was £14.45. If no-one else can collect them by early next week I'll post them for £60. -

I run the same hubs on my Pashley Pronto.
They are good and £50 is a great price.

id still be very keen for them at that price. having a quick look using something like collect+ should bring the price under 10 pounds. I'm happy to cover paypal fees as well.

dibs on the pedals if you can ship to Portugal
-
• #9
Apologies, but I really didn't want to be posting things anywhere to be honest. If they're unsold by the end of next week I'll check the prices, but I imagine posting to Portugal would cost more than the price of the pedals.

If they're drum brakes won't they need to attach to the forks and chainstay some way?
(You've also got front and back the wrong way round I think!)
-
• #11
Yes, well noted, the black bits sticking out attach to the forks and chainstay, tube clips needed for those then I guess.
Wrong way round?

(www.sjscycles.co.uk/sturmey-archer-3-speed-aluminium-hub-with-70-mm-drum-brake-with-gear-control-x-rd3-36-hole-prod19009/)Not important, but figured as I was correcting something might as well mention that it was odd to have a 20t freewheel on the front.
