Planet X external BB track cranks.

Down_to_my_last_15p.

Thinking 'bout buying these for a current project.
Seem a bit heavy, but not a bad price.
Anyone have any experiences, thoughts?

Ask Dammit on the forum, he was running them for a while on his langster .. if I remember correctly the cranks where heavy and good for the price, but the BB was destroyed in a week and changed out for a Shimano one

Pretty much- I think they are good, stiff cranks at a cracking price- but the BB is junk and they aren't the lightest out there.

When my BB died I swapped to an Ultegra one- very convenient being able to grab a Hollowtech BB off the shelf and sling it in.

I replaced them with some Rotor track cranks, which are lighter and possess more bling, but functionally I have to admit I don't output enough power to tell the difference.

Verdict: would buy again.
