Shame. Have seen quite a few fixed and single speed around.

Studying at the medical school if that counts. Keen for a sites tour although whipps can piss off... there's literally no decent way to approach it from any direction

Future Barts Health medics welcolmed. Don 't write Whipps off - it has some interesting features e.g. fantastic views of the London skyline from the top floors of the old building.
As for approaches not sure if there are any E17/E11 people on here who can recommend a slightly Lee Bridge Road less approach to Whipps?
Peter Carter are you out there?

Yes, I am here
and I am not Dr Peter Carter....
I am an NHS England person now and work in W London- but I live next door to Whipps and I did once, a long time ago, train and work @ what was the London Hospital as well as Hackney Hospital...
You can avoid the Lea Bridge Rd if you cross the marshes via Coppermill Lane- but its a season specfic route.
Let me show you ..

Whipps also gains student points for having the best canteen out of the 3 (never sampled Newham). Serious draw.

Forget 'nham the food options are the poorest.

Peter Carter when can you guide us?
Any LFGSS out there working for Barts Health? Just started and aiming to ride between all sites (Barts, London, Mile End, Newham and Whipps) as my job requires it. Look out for a yellow Bob Jackson with red bar tape - would be good to say hello. Perhaps we can organise a tour of barts health when the weather gets better.
