forks for integrated/ semi integrated headset

Posted on
  • long story short but basically I need some new drilled forks with track rake and i only have a couple of options, one of which are these leader forks.

Both my options state that they are compatable with integrated or semi integrated headsets.

i have an older style cinelli vigorelli with a columbus type headset.

    will this fork fit?

    cheers!

  • If the headset is made for a 1 1/8" fork and uses a crown race, I don't see why this wouldn't fit. I also think I have one of those headsets in my parts bin.

  • I concur^
there might be a slight visual difference in thickness of headtube and forks, but its only cosmetic.
what might result in half mm gap between crown race and forks is also that some of the integrated forks have different shape of the bit where the crown sits - for example alpinas.

    tl;dr

    yes it will fit.

PS. yes I was good in ascii

  • but, why not alpinas instead of leader?
look better, are cheaper, and are the same spec-wise.
Jeezlo is selling new ones atm I think

because alpina's aren't drilled.. the road one is but the rake isnt right

  • you can just tap out the bolt and they become drilled:)
