Not sure there was an aero super record seat post, hard to see in the photo's but it looks a lot like one that i have that was sold as chorus (but could be victory/athena). Price is still about right though

How many speed brifters?
-
• #16
Silly answer but I have no idea! Where is it stamped? I'm not too good with gears..

Price of complete bike is £490

Assuming there is nothing written on the brake levers, the Ergo shifters are 8 speed and either '93 Veloce or '94 Athena/Veloce/Stratos. From '95 the groupset was written on components and from 9 speed on, the number of gears was also noted.
I don't know that all four of these levers were the same model, but your photos and my catalogue scans aren't good enough to tell the difference.
The cranks aren't Record, which had the 5th spider arm hidden behind the crank arm. Like HB says, they look like 1st gen. Chorus, on account of the way the lip rises up around the crank bolt.

SS thanks for the info, fairly sure they're Athena.
Cranks are 100% C-record.
-
• #20
Nice looking bike but the cranks are 101% not c-record:)
-
• #21
C-Record, Record cranks are instantly recognisable due to the hidden fifth arm; they also had self-extracting crank bolts and the area around the bolts is flat.
C-Record, Chorus (1st gen.) show all five arms, had standard bolts (with dustcaps) and the area around them rises up in a lip.

IIRC 8spd athena had alu paddles too.
To my eye they're Mirage and priced a little optimistically... obviously it depends on cosmetic condition etc -

Whooops, my bad! Could have put money on this being c-record but it evidently is Chorus! How does £65 posted sound for it?

Optimistic.
Hi all,
had this for a while but I just don't get the time to ride it and I have other things I'd like to put my money into. I understand it's got quite a mix of parts, hence the split!
If you do want to whole thing, give me a shout.
Webster 653 frame, still doing research on price.
Rolls saddle (pretty much NOS) £45 posted
Super-record 27.2 seatpost £35 posted
Mirage brakes £25 posted
Mirage rear mech £18 posted
C-record chainset (amazing condition) £90 posted

Record (I think?) brifters £50
Cinelli giro and 1a stem £35 posted
I'll get price on wheels :)
