Not in London for the 12th, will be for the 27th. Any significance to either date, by the way?

The 12th is one month after Chavez's death and the 27th appears to be the day of the Venezuelan Solidarity Campaign's conference - Zebra Cyclist sent a link suggesting this which I wasn't able to open, but did a bit of detective work in my lunch break.

interesting, but can't make either 12th or 27th April

I'd be interested, but may be working both of those weekends.

Wen Jian et al ... I would like to make the 27th.
I think we should treat this as our first social*, as well as a gesture of showing thanks to Hugo.
*about bloody time!

Hi All!
27th it is! I was just popping in after a couple of weeks away without internet. 27th is my instinct too. Just in case anyone else is keen, I'd be interesting in attending the Venezuelan Solidarity Conference too!

What time for the ride? Afternoon I can make. Morning, very difficult (on account of being in Brighton)
-
• #10
I'm thinking 5.30pm, which gives anyone attending the conference time to get to the starting point (Jubilee Gardens, Monument to the International Brigades).

OK, then I can be there.

looking possible! Trying to manouvre a careful path around kid's swimming lesson, track training, preparing for upcoming camping trip, and this. Yikes!

About to head off to Jubilee Gardens, see you all there in just over an hour!

Ok! Arrived at the monument to the International Brigades. It's just past the adventure playground.

Some of us have been discussing a ride-past of the Venezuelan Embassy in remembrance of Hugo Chavez.
The route is to start at the Monument to the International Brigades in Jubilee Gardens, cross the river at Waterloo Bridge and pass through the Covent Garden area before heading up Tottenham Court Road and turning off onto Grafton Way, where the Venezuelan Embassy is located. We could add a third waypoint as an end location if we wanted to add a little more distance to the route - For instance the Marx Memorial Library in Clerkenwell or keep it simple and stop at LMNH.
Possible dates mooted are the 12th of April in the evening, or Zebra Cyclist has suggested the 27th of April.
List time?
