For Sale: Mavic 631 SSC Group Starfish Crank Set Brakes Seat Post Levers BB Headset

Mavic SSC group from 90's. This group has an absolutely degree of engineering. Mavic spared no expense with the manufacture of this group-set.

"1989 saw massive changes to the Mavic component line up. Gone were the Campy knockoff cranks, old-style Modolo brakes, Simplex shifters and erector-set style derailleurs. In their place were the sleek lines of the 631 "Starfish" crank, the crisp indexed shifting of the 840/841 derailleur and 821 shift levers, and the aero styling of the 440 brake. Sticking around, for the time being, were the venerable 501 hubs and 860/862 front derailleurs. Not the lightest group around by any stretch, but solid, dependable, and like all things Mavic, rebuildable."

Please let me know if some of these parts are not needed because it effects the price.

Condition:

Front and rear derailleur and shifters in very good condition.
Brake levers scratched on front. Everything else is very good.
Brake calipers with original Mavic brake pads. Cable bolt is damaged but working well.
Headset is scuffed a bit, but works great.
Bottom bracket spins very smooth but has some minor cosmetic cuts on bearing covers (see large photos here).
Seat post is in good condition but it has some indentations from seat pin bolt when seat post was used in Vitus frame which has this type of strangulation: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28749589@N02/8513233996/in/photostream/
Crank set has a 25mm scuff mark on the right arm and a shoe scuff on each arm near the letter C (hardly visible). The outer chain ring is in very good condition / inner is worn with some life left. Threads are good and all original. Original dust caps included (not shown in pictures)

Relax. There are Mavic groupset people around. It's lovely stuff. They'll turn up eventually.
