• My Dad has decided to take up cycling after a 20 year hiatus. I have a road frame for him, but he'd be more comfortable on something a little more comfortable. His budget is flexible depending on what's on offer, but around the £150 mark for something basic is what he's aiming at.

  • Hi there - have you sorted this out yet? If not, would your dad be ok with a step through hybrid. I was about to advertise my Raleigh S220 for sale when I saw your ad, so thought I'd ask first. It's an interesting set-up, built for comfort with front suspension and I got a lot of use out of it after coming off a serious footy injury. Alternatively, if a step through isn't suitable, I've got a Trek hybrid surplus to requirements too. Let me know. regards errol
