• Wheels for Wellbeing is an award winning south London charity. We support disabled people to cycle, and work with the cycling lobby, cycle trade, Herne Hill Velodrome, and British Cycling to promote inclusive cycling.

We're delighted to announce that 500k awarded to us by Sport England and Lloyds TSB means we're recruited to four new cycling roles to run a London-wide 'Cycling for All' project. We're looking for people with enthusiasm for cycling and a belief in the benefits cycling can bring.

    These role are:

Development Manager (FT) - overseeing the success of the project, developing new disability cycling hubs.

Communications Officer (FT) - promoting disabled cycling to the cycling community / organisations and to potential cyclists.

Cycling Solutions Officer (PT) - a hands-on role, fitting bikes for disabled people and working with the cycling trade to improve standards.

Community Engagment Officer (PT) - working closely with current and future users to improve our servce quality and user-voice.

Full details of these roles and how to apply are available on the Wheels for Wellbeing jobs page. Applications close on 14th March and interviews will be 25th-28th March.

The posts will be based in our office in Brixton and all will involve travel around the city.

  • Bump.

  • Probably not a great time to ask, given that you're looking for a communications officer at the moment, but would there be someone at Wheels for Wellbeing who would like to chat to me about a possible blog post on the charity on the Telegraph's website?

  • Sparky - best person to contact about that would be Isabelle - isabelle@wheelsforwellbeing.org.uk
