Never been to most of these, but what Hackney Pearl have done with Square Mile beans on Saturdays repeatedly was certainly not what you would call "make a coffee". Their food is sometimes good.

Fred and Fran does really good coffee. Is pretty tiny and no-where to lock up, and very very yummy mummy though.

Tinas is also very good.
