hi, i'm really new here but your listing caught my eye and i've registered to be able to message you back about it!
if it's still available, would there be any possibility of a few more pictures of the rear triangle, downtube etc. the standard close up shots of where normal wear and tear might occur over time.
my interest is down to the fact that i feel my steel frame has a tiny bit too much flex in it now as i'm starting to get more powerful and the frame is starting to get older as well and i'd be looking to race this for a while before deciding on a full carbon frame and then use this as my training bike.
hope to hear back from you soon.

haha, blood, sweat and gears is my life, broken my neck and back cycling (and then my neck again playing rugby ) but i still can't get enough of cycling. 12 bikes and counting from 1955 Schwinn phantom's, 11foot wheelbase lowrider to all out downhill and time trial. oh and in terms of the email adress, i did learn not to hesitate on the run up to a 20ft northshore drop and have since switched to road, tri and track haha. you and your 1000archangels must have been watching over me!

not wanting to piss on the bonfire. but these frames were designed for 700c front, i.e. horizontal tt. why choose the 650c route?

Hang on there Rodolfo- there's an owl guarding those 650 forks, where I also think they should be 700 ones too), the owl thinks it's a bit of a hoot
Only a 700/700 or 650/650 set up would have been compliant with the rules on bike frames of that era, it's well beyond the 700/650 era.

No bonfire to piss on Rodolfo, you are of course correct, it was 700/700 originally. But the BB is high enough that even with a 650 front end the BB is no lower than my Vivalo track frame with 700/700, it might be a tad higher actually.
Also here are some pictures someone requested. Taking these has reminded me why I like this frame, the paint is awesome.

I don't suppose that that Zipp is a clincher?

Yeah i guess they couldn't be bothered to dress them Masi, it doesn't really bother me on a frame like this though, its not built for looks, just for going fast.
Saskin, i wish, but no it is a tub.
