I'm more a Shimano than Campagnolo kind of guy so here is for sale a Campagnolo Athena 8 speed clincher wheelset. This was built around 1992/1994 and used on a 'good weather' bike I have puchased.
The wheelset is true, the bearings are good and the lot comes with skewers, tyres, tubes and cassette.
Hubs: Campagnolo Athena 8 speed - originally unpolished finish but will polish up nicely. Original Campagnolo QR skewers too. Spacing is 130mm back, 100m front.
Rims: Clincher Rigida DP18 'old style', 36 holes, silver finish which will polish up nicely too. Braking marks which will polish off. Not sure about the spokes - I would assume double buted.
Cassette: Campagnolo 8 Speed, 13-21 in very good nick.
*Tyres: *Either Michelin Axium Black / Yellow or Impac black/tan walls - ou choose!
Price wise, £SOLD will take them home.
