I'm trying to recreate this infamous postmark for satirical purposes, but have no expertise in font recognition. IIRC as a lurker, some of you know a bit about graphic design and fonts and that?

Microgramma/Eurostile for the word "Leeds"
Maybe Helvetica for the tag line.

Univers is closer for the 'motorway city' line. If you wanted to recreate the date roundel, Univers Condensed would probably do the job, except for the numbers. You might find a monospaced/typewriter font with numbers that fit.
