Thanks! If i'm not mistaking the tt and downtube are both 55 c-c.
But i'll doublecheck tonight. -

Lovely - and in my size, and it seems with the same crimped tubes as my old Pogliaghi.
When you say "Also do mind the last pictures, ( just above the dropouts)" do you mean there's a problem? I can't see in the pictures.
-
• #7
Not at all! I just mean that the dropouts look awesome. Especially the rear ones.
To be clear this bike is in vgc, no problems. -
• #8
Thanks - the flickr photos certainly show it off a bit better.
No for the big decision: do I flog my Dave Lloyd Concept 90 in awesome 753 so that I can afford this beauty?
Edit: oh, it's not pink, it's magenta!

@ Ludd, don't let them influence you in a bad way.
You want's it, you needs it, precious.... -

You want's it, you needs it, precious....I'm torn - this really is as close as anything can get to the 55x55 Pogliaghi with crimped top and down tubes in Columbus tubing, with 105 bits, that I was riding until last Summer, with the added bonus of an outrageous magenta paint scheme. But I'd be mad to flog off my Dave Lloyd, particularly so soon after having built it up and with so few miles done on it so far. And it's only by flogging the Lloyd that I could hope to afford this Flanders.
If someone else is willing to buy the Flanders and keep it somewhere warm and dry (such as my utility room) until I have the cash to buy it, I'd be v grateful.

Incredibly cool bike.

Postage is required or if yo're a bit patient i can take it to london myself.
purely hypothetically speaking, of course... how patient would one have to be?
-
• #15
Well, i'll be in london around june or july. But i've got a friend who lives there.
He goes back n forward about once a month depending on the amount of work he has. -
• #16
And thanks for the nice comments :)

• #17
Well hoefla, if you were to buy it now, I'm quite patient and I don't mind waiting for a few months for it to arrive so that I can hang it up in my utility room pending finding the cash to reimburse you the cost of buying it off kay now.
But maybe that's not what you had in mind.

these are the decisions that life is all about, in my opinion sell the Dave Lloyd, buy this beauty. It depends which bike would be harder to get in the future the Dave Lloyd or this! You can"t have your cake & eat it. -

Out of interest Kay, how tall is yr gf? Am 5'10" on a good day with long arms. This is lovely, by the way. May be interested..
-
• #22
She is 1m72, bought it in the hope it would fit her, but should have known..
How tall are you on a bad day? -
• #23
Sweet ride!!

okay okay I can't resist any longer... DIBS.

Gone
Has to go, gf is not riding it, tad too big.
For sale this lovely Flanders roadbike.
Postage is required or if yo're a bit patient i can take it to london myself.
Frame:
Columbus slx square tubing with nice looking details.
Nice pantographed forks and bottom bracket.
Also do mind the last pictures, ( just above the dropouts).
Paintscheme is one of a kind or at least quite rare.
Groupset
Full shimano 105 FC1056
Except for the headset wich is hattaswan.
Rest
3ttt alien looking stem and matching handlebars with brand new ribbon
Nameless kalloy stem
Vetta SL saddle
Wheels: Sxor hubs on halfhigh regida rims. These have done maybe under 100km's. Breaking surface is perfect. 24flat spokes. Wheels run smooth and true.
So in total this bike is in VGC with a very few small scratches in the paint. Mainly around the bb. Very good bike for the gf or the guy who has the nuts to do this bike justice. I Tried getting the colors right but am unable to, the color is way more vibrant then on these pics. Feast your eyes...
