I think i paid a correct price for the both of them.
The "Gios" will become my shopping and cafe bike.
I'm considering buying an atlanta 96 rear weel for the bike after mounting the front one yesterday after a decent cleaning. The bike is actually in a very nice condition.
I just have to find the brown brake hoods,to replace the brown modolo's.
i have found black ones but they don't look that good on this bikeThe Merckx will require more work, definitely a new chain en new wiring for brakes and derailleurs.
Maybe i will sell that one after the refurb.

That's so nice, defiantly a gios to be proud of! Not sure about that chain though...

Ok, so you know what the 'Gios' isn't, but do you know what it actually is? By the way, stuff the purists, I think it looks good!

Well, this actually is a Bianchi frame. It was converted into a 'Gios' in the mid 80's.
I wa told that it was fairly common in those days for an italian frame in need of a respray to be converted into a Gios. Especially in the Italian community.
It's a very nice bike to ride.
I have sold the Corsa Extra and Campa grouppo.
Just bought these.
