For Sale: Raleigh road bike 90s bike upgraded with STIs etc Large 23"/59cm frame

I am selling an early 90's Raleigh road bike.

I recently bought it planning on using it as a training bike over the winter, but have decided to sell on as I have too many bikes! Despite being an early 90s frame, I've upgraded this a good deal (with STIs and other modern parts) and it's a much nicer ride than originally. It's in good condition- no dents in the frame, scratches have been carefully touched up and there's little wear to chain/gears (chain and block are new) and wheels are true with minimal brake wear. Mechanically, everything's in good order- all bearings are smooth with no play and the brakes still grab nicely. This is a steel framed bike and despite some good lightweight parts it's still pretty weighty- in the hand I reckon it around 24lbs, even considering its large/approx 23" size. NB please note that photos I've taken of the frame make the paintwork look like pale blue- please note that it's actually navy blue- I've taken a night-time photo which looks a little more convincing, but it's still a shade too light than what you see in the flesh! Parts are standard Shimano 7 speed STI's (7 speed block), Deda bars, standard Shimano rear mech, RPM alloy chainset. standard Campagnolo bottom bracket, Stronglight headset. Specialised saddle, Vuelta Typhoon rear wheel, standard Raleigh front wheel, Tektro dual pivot brakes, Wellgo pedals, Shimano chain and JPM tyres with non-branded parts elsewhere.

NB I will be able to post, but in the UK only. If you want to go ahead with this, packaged weight is approx 13kgs, so it'll be a bit pricey. Probably best to collect from my home in SE London, as it will also be a fair bit dismanted if it does get packaged up.

Nice, I wish I had bought this instead of the thing I got for a ton off Gumtree. I have basically ended up spending about a billion pounds getting it where I wanted it, which might not have happened if I bought something that was already decent enough - like this.
