There's a 2011 claud butler dalesman frame over on ctc forum Reynolds 631, I reckon that would be a decent place to start. I was going to take it but I think its probably a bit big for me. He wasn't after much money for it.

Thanks root. Looks tempting but shame I was down in Somerset a couple of weekends ago and could have had a proper look at it...risky with the damage to take a punt...Size might just rule me out too as I think I should be going a little smaller than my road bike.
But keep it coming!

And if anyone finds one of these kicking around in their shed they're not using then pipe up:

Dear Forum
Can anyone can offer up a decent touring bike for an upcoming trip I have to Asia and South America? It needs to be fairly robust (kind of goes without saying for touring right?) as I'll be packing it all on there. Front and rear racks (or at least mounts and I can sort them out) essential!
I ride a 58cm road bike so something in that region would be ideal. And in fact, it doesn't need to be a whole bike as I'd happily put something together myself with the right core.
Open to suggestions too as I ride a lot of other bikes but long distance touring hasn't really featured in my life yet so offers and advice are welcome!
Yours Sincerely
Zack Esq.
