For Sale: Campag Pista Wheelset

Hey All,

Hope your New Year is going well...

I am having to clear some of my storage (too pay for storage ..how sick!...) which includes a pair of lovely Track Wheels...

**Campag Pista hubs laced to high pressure Mavic clincher rims...
**Large flange Pista hubs I think they are about '73 laced to 70's dark grey square profile Mavic rims (Ma40's all the original decals etc...)
They are 36 hole, with stainless DB spokes
They are like new ~...buttery smooth, very round... .and have a 17 tooth cog with campag lock ring, they have the original tyres on them that are protecting the rims (you could use them if you really needed to as they are unworn tho rather perished). There is one tiny rub on the front that is from a brake (I used the front once in vicky park) that goes about half way round the rim, ( I had to stop just once..dammit!) Other than that they are like new....
I was keeping them to put on a build that was close to my heart...(very close after I scalped myself to buy a boat...;D) though realistically that's not going to happen any time soon. I was looking for around £200 for them, which is about right tho if that's wildly out by a mile then let me know (tho' old track wheels not laced to tubs are sort of hard to find).

Pictures to follow in the next few days (and will clarify the question marks) tho if you are interested I'm in East London at the mo (around dalston or the wick) so shout me to have a look at them...

Yeah they's loveerly...I've had them for ever...I got them on a mercian a million years ago, He built it and never rode it ...I'm a bit sad to see them go...wipes away an imaginary tear in an obama press call fashion...
