The wheels, inc Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub, and gear lever will be coming off this and going onto the Dancelli, with some gumwall Panaracer Paselas. But will need a proper polishing first. Still undecided if I'll use the bars and brake levers. Maybe till I get some nicer/shinier ones.
Other parts on my list to get are...
Velo Orange Postino handlebars
Wald basket
Cranks in good nick - classic style - possibly Andel / Zenith - ideally 144bcd and 165 or 170mm
Flat pedals - silver - would like VO Sabot but can't afford them - (maybe Odyssey triple trap for Old Skool BMX steez)
Cable stops for down tube - silver/aluminium
Freight Baggage can holder
Dia Compe MK122 levers - silver (Old skool BMX steez) -

That chrome dancelli is awesome! How much did it set you back? I need a chrome frame in my life!

It is.
A gentleman doesn't discuss money (but it may still be on the for sale thread).
There is a 56cm chrome frame with ss parts in the complete bike sale section at the moment.

Haha still a very nice purchase!
So last year I picked up an awesome unknown, black, Italian road frame with crimped Columbus tubing (and has been sat patiently next to my bed ever since). Last night I also picked up an equally awesome chrome Dancelli road frame. My current everyday bike is a plain grey Columbus Guerciotti pista. Maybe I have a type.
Since I have vowed to be sober and smoke free for January, I need something to do with my money, time and hands. So time to build.
The black frame (the crimped crusader) will hopefully be brought to life with a modern groupset, either SRAM or Campagnolo.
The Dancelli will be a classy Italian 3 speed town bike. Postino bars etc. The frame lends itsef to it with long dropouts, and no front mech braze-on. I know there'll be haters, but at least it'll have a few gears.
So I'll end up with something vaguely similar to....
