For Sale: Find me a place to live and get this awesome frame for free!

So since the recent forum lotteries and other 'entrepreneurial' ventures I thought why not this?

If this is breaking any rules I will take it down

It's a simple barter. You find me a place to live and get 55cm Soma rush frame that is in great condition.

Obviously I don't expect to get spammed with links from agents where I will have to pay agent fees on top, that is not fair. The reason I am doing this is because I want to avoid agents and their rip off ways of doing business. I will be using all the property search engines with 'private' landlord filter on (gumtree, rightmove etc.) But there will always be a thin gap between doing that and some of you knowing someone who wants to find tenants and havent advertised etc. I'd rather prefer that.

We currently live in a shared accommodation near Finsbury Park (N4). We have decided to get a place of our own and we have to move out of our current place by 22nd Jan.

The house/flat/place of living we are after is should be a non-shared 1 bed property with following factors to consider;

• A decent, clean place to live.
  
• Preferably furnished but if not at least white goods.
  
• Preferably some sort of outdoor area (backyard, balcony etc.)
  
• Place to store 3 bikes at least ; )
  
• Longer term living (more than a year)
  
• Wandsworth Borough; nuff said (low council tax)
  
  
  

And the factors that don't matter:

• Area; anything is fine withing 8 miles from central and safe.
  
• Parking; haha!
  
• Anything to do with starting a family a.k.a yummy mummy or good school areas etc.
  
  
  

Our budget is £900 to £950 PCM + bills

Both of us work in central London in web technology. We love to ride bikes, cook and drink good beer. We are non smokers and we don't have any pets. We can give landlord and employer preferences and provide with proof of income if required.

Contact Cake on here and ask for our old landlord's number.
He has a lot of properties and is a nice guy, although a bit drunk and a bit slow at getting stuff done.
He has property in Finsbury Park as well.

I know this isn't exactly as per spec, but Walton on Thames? 20 minutes or so from Clapham. Rent should be ok to get a place with ourdoor space. Safe, good schools. Nice cycle ride into town. Decentish pubs.

Brilliant idea. Sadly a great number of landlords and agents are not that great to deal with and getting a place through someone you know/the grapevine could save a whole load of hassle.
