I have a mint Record 10spd long cage with the carbon parallelogram, will swap for the Chorus 11spd if in similar condition or sell. I'm in SE1/Waterloo.

ah, I am a doofus, I meant to say Medium or short cage, sorry, OP amended. Not keen on a long cage cause of the chain slap, will bear your offer in mind Retro di corsa if nothing else comes up... The 11spd Chorus mech has lost some of the carbon finish on bit near the adjuster screws, should work perfectly though, ill get a pic up tomorrow...

you do realise that the 11 speed mech will work with your 10 speed setup fine?
-
• #5
!!! really? That is awesome news, will i have to do any respacing or any such jazz?

Nope, you may have to change the jockey wheels -but most of the info I found on the net says no. The shifters dictate the amount of clicks and also the cable pull so you should be fine.
I'll be doing the same with my 10spd record setup when I replace the mech in the spring - its outrageous how expensive new 10spd Record mechs are given theyve been out of production for years now. The 11spd ones give better shifting anyway apparently -

my pleasure. Campagnolo is a tricky lifestyle choice :) Kind of worth it though, superior to everything else I've ever ridden, if it's set up right!
bent the (removable) gear hanger on my bike in a crash, didnt notice how bad it was and when i shifted down the cassette, the mech got stuck in the spokes and is now dead. I need a new one asap!
older style 10 speed (preferably with some carbon)
Centaur, Chorus or Record
Medium or Short cage
good working condition.
I have a Chorus 11 speed rear mech (carbon) to swap if someone wants...
cheers
