  • For sale is my Harry Quinn track frame 57cm CTT £220

It has been professionally resprayed with new decals but due to a chain throwing incident the area around the BB is in need of some attention. There's also a small spot of paint removed from the down tube.

Apart from that no other obvious flaws apart from a seatpost bolt that looks like its been overtightened. Its definitely not an issue and works fine.

This has the original frame number and can be traced to around 1967.

The forks are NOT drilled and the clearances are SUPER tight :-) Definitely a beautiful example...

I'm including a Shimano 105 headset and a Shimano Dura Ace BB. See my other thread for a set of Dura Ace road cranks if you're interested.

This frame is currently a few miles to the south of London. Prefer to post or I can deliver if its anywhere Central or South.

  • OOoo nice, I've HQ road frame I've been using on a daily basis and after a track frame in that size.
Interested in swapping for a KoM Mercian road frame with a stuck post? Is boxed to get sent back to Mercian for a refurb

  • Haha! No thanks...

  • btw try freeze spray on stuck seatposts...

  • I've tried everything but the caustic soda (leverage, coke, vinegar, hairdryer etc etc). There was someone on the forum who said they wanted it "as is" and so I have PM'd them to chase them about it. If he takes it then it means I'll have the cash for the above.

  • I used this stuff: http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=192100 worked a treat, better than heat. Caustic products wont work because usually its two bonded metals so can't get between them - freezing separates them.

  • Do you know what the tubing is? And weight?

  • Hi what's the serial number please? thanks

  • no idea what the tubing is but its light and thin will post the serial tonight

  • Smart frame and good price.

  • Keen but not heard back from TommyRides so can not buy one until I sell one, v frustrating but undibs

  • Nice frame - touch too big - have a bump.

  • Can you ship to Belgium?

  • serial/frame number is Q 24 02

  • @Twanio I can if you're serious I will check out the cheapest costs

  • thanks for the frame number

    professionally resprayed with new decals

    may i ask where?

  • Is it 57 square?

  • thanks for the frame number

    may i ask where?

Mario? (can't remember for sure) based near Catford, used to work for a big manufacturer. The gold decals were difficult to find

  • Is it 57 square?

    Yep give or take 5mm

  • Hey Buddy, have you got any pics with wheels? Cheers

  • ^Also interested to see pic with wheels, thanks.

  • you can see there's little room for more than a 23c tyre

  • These Harry Quinn frames are dead nice and sooo tight, especially for the era.
Blue Quinn has a couple, his red one is daft nice, not sure if it's on here anywhere...

  • I'd buy this if I hadn't just spent £120 on insulation, wood and pipes, and have another £120 to spend tomorrow on boards.
