@OP
Are you trying to say you would like a classic 'double triangle' collapsible frame?

Actually I am just looking for something that doesn't look as fugly as a typical folding bike. Therefore my Strida example.

Fuck, I think I will just dig out my 90's MTB, put QRs back on so it fits into the car easily and we hit the outskirts with this... just can't imagine myself on those grandpa shoppers

I reckon there's a fair bit you could do with the frame....

That Dahon Mu Uno is not too bad actually..
I wonder why they just have to do these fucking curved lines everywhere... that bike would look awesome with straight lines.

I have one on order. I wanted something I could bung on the Eurostar & TGV without buggering about.

Apologies for the shit photo, but Airnimals are proper good. Coveted one for ages and was my first foray into seriousish bikes

Balki: that looks perfect for a nice day out in the wild, over hill and dale.
Do they also supply the rest of the wheels or are you forced to roll on those hubs directly?

Imagine the ride quality... Though I have to dmit, one went on eBay for 25 bucks recently and I do regret not purchasing it
Hi, does anyone of you know if there are any folding bikes out there on the market that are actually aesthetically pleasing, i.e. reduced to the minimum, without mudguard, racks, reflectors, ugly decals and annoying accessoires? I don't need any of those gimmicks as the bike would just be used for short trips where I take the bikes in the car for sundays rides with the girlfriend.
Of course you could strip a standard Brompton or Dahon to achieve the above, but this will probably still not look really good, but... more like a stripped normal folding bike.
The only one I like so far is the Strida, but I heard it's a pain to ride.
