Has a regular meet for chat and drinks been done before?

I've recently moved here to do masters course and it would be good to meet a few likeminded people and get some local knowledge. Anyone game? I suggest we make it a fort-nightly thing to begin with, maybe on a Thursday night? The Rumsey Wells looks like a reasonable place, pretty central and loads of railings and racks around to lock to nearby. If there's somewhere better please let me know, I don't know the city very well yet. I would have suggested the Playhouse but it seems it's a bit like Marmite (you either love it or hate it)

We used to do a Friday night ride which involved riding out of the city through the beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk countryside to a pub. Ride back and smash it in the Ten Bells on St Bennedicts. Norwich has been a bit lame as of late, but yea this is a fab idea. Could I recommend the Alexandra Tavern on Stafford Street.

Yeah, sounds good. It might lead to confusion to change the location now though. Let's meet as planned and decide from there. If we do end up moving a short group ride through town will be loads of fun anyway!

Moving back to the city soon so Im in before long.
