Araldite!
Now I know people say all sorts of things to do and its going to be messy whatever you do, but if it was mine, I would drill a hole just below it to stop it spreading, and fill/seal it with Epoxy Resin. This is because Carbon Fibre is bonded with resin anyhow and cant hurt it.
Oh and use a supersharp drill bit :)

just ride it for today, and when you get a mo. drill a hole as suggested (many times )
if you think about it, when you sit on the seat, because of your weight, you are pushing the seatpost backward, not forward.

Whats happening round the back of the clamp area? pre cursor or track champ? still wondering if you can get a thin hinged seat clamp around the seat tube for extra clampyness.
The hole thing will work, tried and testesd on many cymbals, ask any drum tech.
maybe better with a alu post, less flex at the crack area [dont quote me on that tho]
nice to meet you at wests btw.

I'd wait for Terry Dolan's opinion, for some strange reason I think he may be one of the best people to give advice.
This is the seat clamp area of my hardly ridden almost finished Dolan Track Champion build :(
Bought the frame off a forum seller about a year ago, pretty sure it wasn't there then. Finally got all the bits and put it together about 3-4 months ago - was very careful when tightening the seat clamp - mostly because it's a carbon seat post and I'd have thought that would go first!
A few mixed opinions from the forumengers at the west beers. Some say I need to drill a small hole at the bottom of the crack to stop it growing, some say it's had it.
Terry Dolan himself (although I only just emailed him back with the photo) reckons it can be welded fixed, but as I bought it 2nd hand they won't do it for free. Armatex reckon it's dead.
Seat post is still secure. Want to go on the bridges ride tonight.
So, guess the questions are:
Can it be fixed, and if so, what would it likely involve / cost / affect appearance?
Should I stop riding it?
Thanks!
