Cheers J - I've got 46-50 chainrings thanks to Oli, and a 16 cog knocking about. Should get me started although the cog is 3/32 so if you've a 1/8 one spare I would be interested.

Oli said he started to strip it back then decided he didn't have time or use for it when finished... So, I could continue to strip back then have it painted, or leave it looking distressed... how'd you like it done? ;)

As a get me going on a budget, impulse buy, I'll have to make use of what I've got for now.

Considering these guys do a near enough copy of the Cannondale track, could be worth a shot...

Definitely. There isn't even a standard version for the 90's track. I've seen 3 different crowns on the flat top's they came with. Id say that burgundy respray up there is a good ref. Anything that isn trying to get close to the original blue and def not the ugly green. Not black either, that just makes it into any bike and it needs that 90's touch. I really dig the hue's they have in the 1991 catalog.
Bought the one Tallboy had up for sale on here yesterday.
Plan is to get more time on the track at Manchester as I'll be working over that side of town for 12 months from Monday.
Might clearcoat it so it remains unique in this condition!
The wheels (Purple Aerohead Rims on Primato Hubs) I've had for ages (almost sold once or twice) unused from someone who used them on the track only - they are clinchers, am I doomed? I do need to replace the rear rim I think, it has a chip in it.
Early pics below.
The stem is too long, was just brought along to hold the bars on to bring home.
