Bike pick-up: anyone in/near Harrogate HG1?

Bought a bike from an auctioneers in Harrogate HG1, but they won't bubblewrap/package it for me, so I can't have it picked up for a reasonable amount either by an inexpensive courier. Their recommended courier wants to charge £140 for bringing it to London, whereas if they bubblewrap/blanket wrap it and stick a label on, CityLink can deliver for £20 - go figure! Is there anyone near Harrogate HG1 who can help me out? Will pay, of course. Any good Samaritans please pm. Thanks.
