It might be a Raleigh Olympian from the 80's, they came in a burgundy colour and I remember the seatposts were 26.6. Have you any pics?

Seems to show that Raleigh did 26.6 for the Olympian and 26.8 for the Super Course

You can get thin shims to fit round your seat post that will take it up to larger sizes. Try your local quality bike shop.
The other alternative is cut a shim out of a coca cola can or similar and wrap round the seat post.
Hi everyone,
got an old Raleigh frame (well, i believe it's a raleigh) and I'm having a little bit of a problemo fitting a seatpost!
I have a 26,4 which is too small and there is possibly 2mm extra?
Now I know the next size up is 26,6 and then 26,8. I'm 99% sure it's 26,6 but what are the chances of it being 26,6 (stupid question, I know, but Raleigh may have never made this size etc etc etc)
Thanks for your help in advance!
James
