Wanted: Shamal - Pista Rear Wheel, 16h rim or 700/650c Wheelset

Hi All,

So, I'm expecting this to slip into the depths, but if you don't ask an all..

I'm looking for a Campag Shamal Pista rear wheel for a very deserved Eddy Merckx Frameset. 700c, Pink Logo, 16 hole.

Would also consider a single, or set of Shamal rims, 16h, or a 700/650c Wheelset.

Let me know if you have anything, I can't imagine a better home for it ;)

Clincher or tubs? Does scorch still have his tubs?

Not bothered, if i had the luxury of choice a clincher would be more practical.

Regarding Scorchs, Sadly no longer around. I really ballsed-up an opportunity there :$

Pretty sure he had a spare rim as well as the 2 he was selling. Worth trying?

I'd hold out for a clincher though myself, if you're planning on actually riding this rather than having it as an ornament... something will come up.

Spoke with scorch a while back about it, cheers though.
Like you say, with any luck something will turn up for a reasonable price. Don't need a "show bike" wheel, as its definitely gonna be ridden. I don't mind running tubs, it might make it more affordable, or be of less use to a potential seller, but yes a clincher is preferable.
