For Sale: Zipp 440 Tubular Track Rear Wheel

I don't need it anymore, but I need space for other stuff, so it has to go.

Rim: Zipp 440 (the one with the green decals), tubular, 32h. Currently the decals are under black tape.
Hub: Novatec double fixed, black, thread in perfect condition.
Spokes: Fat aero bladed spokes, don't know the company.
Tire: Tufo S3 Pro, black, only 20 miles used.

Wheel was only used at indoor velodromes.

bought the wheel complete as it is. i wouldn't use a novatec hub for streetriding but for a training velodrome wheel the hub is fine. you don't skidd or brake...

Eingang, well - you dont but I have managed to bend an axle in the better hubs than that....

tomder: 440s are from 1991. The hub would surely have broken down by now if it was inferior :D

the wheel wasn't build in 91 :)

Just a note on Novatec hubs, I abused a pair on the street for almost 2 years on my main bike with no issues... More recently I rode a pair of super record hubs for 2 weeks and ripped all the threads off going down a hill...

So Novatec>Campag?

campag/suntour/dura ace track hubs are really soft and not for street riding :D
I got a pair of these 440's and I love them. laced to other hubs tho
