what do you mean by mismatched ?
-
• #3
[1] Sugino 75 cranks. 165mm, 144BCD. These are mismatched! which is not a good thing. I am not even entirely sure exactly which Sugino cranks they are, so if anyone wiser than me can help, let me know. Therefore I also welcome corrections on my expected price, which may be way out if these aren't actually 75s.
The LH crank is a steel-grey, the RH gloss black. The LH one has a few small nicks to the gloss, the RH one is better. You can also see the Goldtec 44T sprocket.
Here's the other side of it all, excuse my greasy fingerprints:
Close up of the back of the left hand crank. This seem to be pretty definitely an SG 75 T ...
Here's a close up of the back of the right hand crank. There's nothing as helpful on this. From the position of the logo on the front side, I think it is a 75 rather than a messenger. Also the JAPAN H-9 text matches the LH crank.
A lot of my diagnosis came from here:
http://www.suginoltd.co.jp/english/product_crank_sg75144_black_english.htm
£100 for cranks. Includes crank bolts, which I forgot to photograph. Or happy to split, given they are different colours!
£10 for Goldtec ring.
Prov dibs to Bikenut63, who spotted them in the project thread and registered an interest!

[4] Concor saddle. £25.
This is one of the popular Concor San Marco supercorsa retro leather saddles. It is in fairly good condition and has not developed a shiny patina - it still has a bit of fur.
Unfortunately, it is a fairly unpopular colour. Anyone following my project thread will have realised I cannot find a shade of clue to match! Because of this I'm offering it up at a less-than-half-price-of-new £25.
Here is an initial photo:
This weekend I will give it a proper clean and brush, and post a photo of that when done. But feel free to dibs it meanwhile :-)

What size is the steam roller?
-
• #8
It's a 53cm. In other discussions I have been working towards these prices:
Frame - £90
Fork - £30Or Frame and Forks for £110 (bargain!)
BB (brand unknown) and M-Part headset for another £10?
Very prov dibs by sammo1789 from a wanted thread, but he's not sure about the size.

About to pop out to deliver the wheels and then for the evening - should get the last few bits off the frame tmw, and will then put some proper pics up

Might be interested in the Steam roller frame if you can post? Photos would be cool :)

[2] and [3]
Steamroller frame, 53cm. 2008 vintage. Matt black. Rubbed through showing white mark on top tube, where I think there is a slight ding. Otherwise good nick. £90
Guess carbon forks. New in March 2012, maybe 400-500 miles. Good for 28mm tyres. but fatties don't fit fine :-) Plenty of steerer. Fork crown race available with headset (below). Star nut fitted. No top cap. £30
Frame and forks together - £110 (tenner off!)
Frame tentatively prov dibs by sammo1789 but he's unsure on size.
Also: m-part headset and unknown BB (the one still in the frame) - £10
Below is a couple of photos from earlier this week when it was still fully built. It is now half-stripped, I'll finish it this weekend and will add some more photos then...
I'm in London, E3, but yep, can happily post. I recently got some forks over to France so can even go abroad, I reckon!

Very open to offers on these, and offers for splitting them, too.

Yeah they're definitely 75s. The NDS just looks like its faded/been exposed to light or some shit.

Interested in the forks if they are 1 1/8th?
-
• #18
Kennaway: Yep, the forks are 1 1/8th.
CasaSteve: were you after frame only? Have I put up enough pics or would you like some more? and where would you like it posting to? so many questions! :-)

I think pretty much everything is now sold. Thanks for everyone's interest.
Just the Concor San Marco Supercorsa to go!
Are these saddles too much like fake-retro for people to actually be interested in them?
-
• #20
Price drop bump and labour-of-love bump for the saddle - I've cleaned it with nourishing leather cleaning gunk and given it a brush, looking good apart from some marks at the back. Now £20...

I hope this doesn't annoy anyone too much or that it is in disregard to forum etiquette ... I am going to launch the stubbornly unselling San Marco saddle into its own thread. The reason is that the quick search in the top right is based on the thread title, so searches for 'Concor', 'San Marco' or even 'saddle', are missing this thread. In mitigation, to reassure you I am not just here for the quick sell, my motivation is simply to avoid ending up throwing this saddle in the bin; instead I want to find a nice LFGSS home for it (ie not pimping it on ebay, etc). I will relentlessly bump the price in the new thread until it ends up as freecycle.

mod thread, change thread title

• #23
ah dammit sorry, yes that make more sense
still a bit of a newbie
-
• #24
The forks gone? if not I'm interested
-
• #25
Yep, sorry, they sold with the frame to dglshrn
However, he was not sure about the size and was thinking he might possibly sell it on, so the forks might still be spare. This is his profile if you want to PM him!
