Weekend bump as I await the frames delivery....
-
• #3
Fortnightly bump... someone, somewhere?
-
• #4
Caaaaaaam on...
-
• #5
And another bump... (sorry)
-
• #6
Actually received a message about someone who knows someone with a set, who doesn't want to sell, so no use... Brilliant.
-
• #7
Was he telling you how nice they were?

I've got some Colnago forks, not track specific. Long steerer too. http://www.lfgss.com/thread98088.html#post3291980

Thanks for the heads up but really need to be track.
-
• #10
http://www.lfgss.com/thread98126.html But not flat crown, or track, so probably no good...
-
• #11
ha, cheers dude, already seen them, and you're right, but thanks!
-
• #12
Ah thought as much
And so, the search continues... Maybe try wanted ads over on retrobike or bike radar too, if you haven't already?
-
• #13
I struggle on other forums... I bet there are some somewhere - I just took a pair of forks in to be made as much like Colnago ones as possible... Fauxnago.

Ryan at Oak Cycles could probably knock you a pair up...
-
• #16
Ted's on the case... good ol' boy.
-
• #17
Ah, you're sorted then... :)
-
• #18
He plans on making them so the tyre touches the crown, then file it back a bit, ha. Sounds good to me!
-
• #19
^ I suspect this is how mine were done... the curve is uneven at points
-
• #20
Ha, that looks like what I'm after but neater I hope... Looks like you had a drilling filled too?
-
• #21
No I asked about that, it is a small tap to guide a drill bit if you wanted to drill it!
-
• #22
Ha, interesting! Makes sense but I'm not too keen looks wise...
-
• #23
true, but you can hardly see it in real life :p
-
• #24
Yeah, sorry, I can imagine... what frame are they on?

On my Plum Vainqueur (branded WBV) here's the latest guise:
Yeah, I bet everyone has a spare pet kicking about right? Flat crown? Decent length steerer?
If anyone has, or knows of, a pair of flat crown Colnago track forks I would be VERY interested.
Thanks,
Chris.
