Carbon with paint chips

Hi I have found for sale a frame in my size, I would like to buy it but there are some big paint chips, are these merely cosmetic, or more serious?

some of the early carbon frames did have an issue with paint chips
i have a kestrel 200 http://www.lfgss.com/thread86909.html which has a good few paint chips but according to the reviews of the bike i have read it is a common thing with that bike it isn't an issue structurally, just cosmetically

what frame is yours ? might be worth just checking a few write ups on t'internet about the bike and see if it is a common feature
