• Hi all.
I've never done this before so I hope I don't make too many mistakes.
I'm moving house so I thought I'd try to move these on to lighten my load.
Pick up can be from E5 or N1.
    Cash on collection.
Dips are fine but PMs get the job done.

I hope all this copying of links works...

    Red Path/Track bike.
was branded A. F. Mills but had a horrid restoration job so I gave it a powder coat, which at least protects the frame. People reckon it's from '56.
    seat tube:56.5 ctc
    top tube 57.5 ctc
    rear dropouts 110mm
from dropouts 96mm (which poses no problems)
Beautiful forks and lugs but sadly one small problem, (two problems if you are as tall as me) The race that goes in the bottom of the head tube does not fit snugly, i.e, it shifts slightly. The nice guys at the bike shop said I could ride it and put up with the creak when I went over bumps or have it fixed in permanently by some guy who builds bikes.
So, you can buy it and ride it, or you can use the forks somewhere else.
    100 pounds ONO - NOW SOLD £85

    Secondly,
H+Son/Goldtec wheel set. Both wheels run very smooth and very true. No break surface. 250 ONO
Once on the bike these wheels look as good as a bookcase full of books!

Cinelli AL6061 Pista drops. There is a cm long scratch on the end of the left drop. It should be covered with tape. It was covered with tape so not quite sure how it got there. 40 pounds

FSA OS 115 120mm. Aluminum with a carbon face. 30 pounds

Alpina track forks, Drilled by someone. 40 Pounds? NOW SOLD for asking a price

Nitto B123AA drops. Show wear from being put on and off. 35 Pounds. NOW SOLD for asking price

Ok, I think that's it. Like I said, I've not done this before so if I've broken rules or etiquette let me know softly.
Everything is at E5 but I can get it to my girlfriends in N1 if that is a help.

  • sigh. Links totally not working. Tried to do it through Dropbox... help please?

  • Would you split the wheelset.looking for rear wheel?

  • Hi. I'd rather sell them both but if there is no interest I'll get back to you.
    Cheers.

Ok, first dibs pending size. Replied to you pm. Should have said I can scoot home on Saturday, not around tonight and tomorrow, and measure up and take a picture if you like.

  • 2nd dibs fork! (but only if you do international postage)

Not keen to post right now... See if my days become less onerous.

  • very nice frame, it looks like it has Oscar egg lugs if so it may be that the fork is french threaded or something

Hi. thanks. I should have googled Oscar egg before replying... So I don't know. The seat cluster looks the same as many Claud Butlers, as does the bottom bracket. I've not seen the exact same head tube lugs, although many that look the same on first inspection. I think the threads aren't French because I regular Headset fit it fine and the bb is english. It is a nice looking frame... Oh well... Hope it goes to a cheerful home.

  • Also interested in rear wheel, in case you'll split. 2nd dibs.

Ok, 2nd dibs rear wheel pending splitting.
Still hoping for them to go as a wheelset. They look so fine... matter of tast I guess.

  • what size are the nitto b123aa's?

  • what size are the nitto b123aa's?

Hi. I think they are 38 ctc.

Sorry all, there are some measurements I forgot to take note of, like the above, and I'm at my girls for the next few days but for the most part I've got them in my head.

    Cheers.

    Or half awake.

...... How did you do that?
    Cheers.

  • Update on the Alpina forks. They have tight clearance and a 26 cm steerer. If anyone has some track forks with a 28 cm steerer let zygowsky know.
    The forks are still available.
