How to fit a hard to fit tyre without using levers

You dont need to use tyre levers to put tyres on. only taking them off

Disagree XH - putting a schwalbe marathon plus onto a mavic ksyrium elite rim definitely requires the use of levers. You cant use the technique on this video either as the rim doesnt have a 'well' in the centre - careful use of levers only for the last section

What you do, right... is you put the tyres on with your thumbs... but if the last bit is too hard, you get a tyre lever and use that to help you.

Push it to the lbs, job done ;-)

Nah, you don't need levers. Buy yeah, everyone's got their own method. This is the way I do it;

I use 3 per wheel, so i have to carry 6 around with me

You're definitely doing it wrong. Why on earth would you put heavy tyres like this on a wheel like this?
