Artcrank Poster Party - 07/09/12 - Plain Wall Projects

Alright lords and ladies,
its that time of year again when (art + bikes) x beer = ARTCRANK
Its time to clear some wall space, rustle up a few quid and go sup a few with some good friends in the presence of beautiful and affordable screen prints.

ARTCRANK is a show of bicycle-inspired poster artwork that introduces people to talented local artists and sends them home with affordable, original works of art. Since its 2007 debut in Minneapolis, ARTCRANK has held shows in bike-friendly cities in the US and UK, including Portland, San Francisco, Austin, St. Denver and London. In 2012, we’ll hold our second show at Interbike, a cycling industry showcase that attracts attendees from around the world. ARTCRANK uses creativity to change how people think about bicycles and grow the cycling community.

This year the party is at Plain Wall Projects and, as usual, the list of artists from in and around London is enough to wet your pants a little bit. its grass roots, its artist supporting, its bikes and beers and great music into the night. i expect you've been before, i'm preaching to the wrong crowd, but please spread the word and it'd be great to see you there.

BUMP! This is tonight!

That is to say, the artcrank show opening party is tonight. Plain Wall Projects in Hoxton from 6 - 11. Prints by polo players Adrienne and Matt. Polo supporters and cycling jersey designers Milltag have something there. And a bunch of other people who I don't know. Some of us will be there enjoying beer and looking at the pretty pictures. Come!

No idea, but as is the case anywhere in London, bring good locks just in case.

Bought this! I got 29/30 so must have done well...

Both prints I got were 2/30! Would have liked to have seen some more art work but the ones displayed were good. Need a bigger flat with more Walls now

Went to this on Friday, it was really good. But very warm inside.

Matt, your print was definitely one of the best, really nice concept and good colours.

Really liked the time triallist one as well.
