To be honest chap, I'd rather just sell it as advertised. However, I'd be willing to drop the price to £120 if you left me with the seat.

I'll take it for 120 without the seat. PM on its way.

2nd dibs. I would take it as it is. On Monday I was doored and my bike is now in unrideable condition so I need another one quickly. I could pick it up today.
Hey,
I’m wondering if anybody would like to adopt an unfinished project. I would like to say its been a labour of love but it really hasn’t. Just about every part was jammed and getting the cranks off almost gave me a hernia.

On the plus side, the bike is a rare 1978 Archie Wilkinson -only a few hundred were made. This is the only one I've seen in this colour . The bike as a whole is in good condition. I’d say the frame is in excellent condition but the forks need tidying. All parts are original except the shifters on the TT. The pictures don’t show the bike with brake levers attached but the original ones are included, it’s just that my intention was to put some Dia Compe’s on.
The bike features:
Iscaselle Tornado saddle in black
ITM quill stem
Original TANGE industries headset with Italian thread
Schurman super rims
French made Aluminium Solida crankset
Shimano 50 front derailleur double road
Shimano RS derailleur
Weinmann Type 730 brake calipers
The frame CT is 55cm and the top-tube is 54cm.
Yet, my reasons for sale are two-fold. Try as I have, I cannot move the seat-post meaning the saddle is currently stuck at 93cm suiting someone 5ft6-5ft7. Apparently, I either need to get a heat gun or take it to a bike shop. I can afford neither of these and here I come to my second point. I have a housing deposit to find in two weeks. As mentioned earlier, I will be rather pleased to see this bike go due to the trauma it has caused. Anybody wanting to buy the bike will be greeted with a cup of tea and biscuits - no tears. Ideally, I’d like £150 for her but due to the current economic climate, the fact that the eurozone is going to shit and the issue with the seat-post, I feel £130 will be more appropriate. Dibs followed by PM please.
Joe
