I have one small frame kit for sale:

Gitane track frame circa 1985 Reynolds 531 NOS in perfect condition.
st 50cm c to c, threads are french.

velo-orange.com, freshtripe.co.uk and tokyofixedgear, amongst others, sell Velo Orange parts including bb and headsets.
ebay has also French parts easily accessible.

200 pounds including postage.

This picture is just to have an idea of how the bike looks build up.

Is the Metayer a rebadged Gitane?

Right, I thought you were the one who bought that Métayer on the bay though. I had my eyes on it, really like that blue colour.

I could post to Greece but i guess it could be a bit small for you. Depending on the inseam length i think this frame can fit someone up to 1,70m nicely.
I'm 1,89 and I have frames from 56 to 59cm. Honestly I prefer the small ones but 50cm for a guy measuring 1,76m seems a bit small.

I am really tempted about the frame despite i wasn't thinking about building my own one. I am more likely to ride a 54cm frame rather than 52, but I am 170cm tall, so it might fit me.
Do you know where can I find those wheels?

If it is a 50 a cannot go for it. I am looking for a 52-54 the smallest. Currently riding a 56.

The frame is mine. Liquidsky is my mate that made me join this forum and it's giving me a hand.
Frame is 50 cm as described and has it's original painting. It was wrapped in plastic until last week but I've decided to remove it to make some better photos.
